We announce the death of Maxie Craigo of Pelzer, South Carolina, who passed away on June 10, 2026, at the age of 85. Maxie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lowell and Ann Marie Tumblin Craigo; and his brothers, Arthur Tony Craigo and James Sammy Craigo. He is survived by: his wife Connie Joy Davis Craigo; his daughter Tammy Renee Craigo Smith (Ronald); his grandchildren, Ronald Trent Smith (Stacy) and Amber Briane Ford (Chase); his great grandchildren, Levi Jackson Ford, Holland Rae Ford, Lukas Edward Ford and Turner Stephen Smith; his niece Rollanda Crooks; and his nephew Bryan Craigo.
