It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammie Jo Hembree of Pelzer, South Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Earl Belt, Sr. and Letha Sanders Belt; and her siblings, Don Belt, Hiram Belt, Jr., Mary Cole, Irene Wallace, Frances "Frankie" Davis and Letha Chandler Patrick.

She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Crumley (Erin) and Steve Crumley; her grandchildren, Hayden Crumley (Madison), Logan Crumley (Lyndsie) and Madison Duffie (Jonathan); and her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Raelynn.
