It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Annette Whelchel of Pendleton, South Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Margie Spencer Whelchel and H. W. "Bud" Whelchel of Pendleton, SC.; her sons, Trevor Rochester (Courtney) and Luke Rochester; her grandson Jacob; her sisters, Andrea Barnett (Al) and Julie Prater (Frank); and her nephews, Trey Barnett (Cricket), Walt Barnett (Merry Ellen), Andrew Prater and Grant Prater (Jessica). She is also survived by two great nieces, one great nephew, and countless friends.
