He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie L. Gentry, Sr. and Agatha Stone Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Jayne Gentry; his daughter Angie Gentry Mettlen (Brian Mueller); his granddaughter Holly Mettlen (James Pennisi); his nephews, Adam Robinson (Jennifer) and Matthew Robinson (Amy); and his cousins, Bruce Gentry (Susan) and Franklin Gentry (Martha).
The military honors will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery (5150 Gentry Rd, Anderson, SC 29621).
