He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Douglas and Rosa Stasney Garrett; and his siblings, Wilburn Garrett, James Garrett, Lois Patterson and Joyce Patterson.
He is survived by: his children, Lori G. Yeomans (John) and Russell Garrett (Susan); his stepson Marty Weldon (Wanda); his grandchildren, Allan Yeomans (Summer), Summer Y. Reyes (Ricky), Mandy Yeomans (Matthew), Natalie Mitchell (John Michael) and Jared Weldon (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Victoria (Alex), Jayden, Gavin, Chloe, Loriana, Alysia, Braxton, Ben, Brenna, Hudson, Aliyah and Branch; and his sisters, Jane Patterson, Mickey Langford and Ruth Cromer.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Memory Gardens (586 Issaqueena Trail, Central, SC 29630).
