We bid farewell to Shirley A. Weaver of Pendleton, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 10, 2026 at the age of 83. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Chapman and Leona Chapman (Peterson); her husband Ronald O. Weaver; and her siblings, Jerry Chapman, Ronald Chapman, Donald Chapman and Donna Wells.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Gibson (Kurt) of Pendleton; her grandchildren, Michael Gibson of Lenexa and Ryan Gibson (Trinity) of Anderson; and her siblings, Larry Chapman (Rita) of Bushnell and Evelyn McCormick (Merle) of Marietta, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home (771 N Crafford St, Bushnell, IL 61422). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Bushnell Fire Rescue Squad or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
