She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Geer and Alice Ellerbe Geer; and her sister Patsy Connolly. She is survived by: her husband Tom; her sons, Jimmy (Bonnie) of Winston-Salem, NC and John (Marianne) of Greenville, SC; her grandchildren, Walker, Woody and Katie; and her brother John M. Geer, Jr. (Joyce) of Lake Norman, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
