It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Galloway of Pickens, South Carolina, born in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Troy Pickney and Sarah Oleta Hamet Galloway; his siblings, Troy Erwin Galloway, Nellie Galloway Vaughn, Edna Galloway Akers, Dorothy Galloway Waldrop and Linda Galloway Pollitt; and his brother-in-law Robert Wayne Akers.

He is survived by : his sister-in-law Ida Galloway. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Memorial Park (7 Duncan Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690).
