She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. John Cleveland; her parents, Oliver McMahan and Mattie Garder McMahan; and her stepson Jerry George. She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Kathy Careatti (Daniel) of Travelers Rest and Beverly McDowell of Greenville; her grandchildren, Nathan Carpenter, Daniel Carpenter (Angela), Hannah Freeman (Nathan), Carmen Welch (Donavan), Sherri Gentry (Rodger), Jason McDowell (Linda), Stephen McDowell, Courtney Couch (Jason) and Lacy Clevenger (Dustin); her brother Donald McMahan (Carol) of Apex, NC; her daughter-in-law Connie George; and her niece Angie. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
