He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie D. Parsons and Myrtle Babb Parsons; his wife Emily Finley Parsons; his daughter-in-law Brenda G. Parsons; his brother Glenn Parsons; his sister-in-law Lillian Parsons; and his sister Lillian Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Charles A. "Al" Parsons and Nancy P. Lanford (Fred); his grandchildren, Amy P. Breazeale (Chet), Chad Parsons, Beth L. Lay (Gordon) and Jill L. Sanford (Shane); his great grandchildren, Finley Breazeale, Susann Breazeale, Grant Lay and Drew Lay; and his brother-in-law Fred Owens.
