Charlton Delano Bowie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlton Delano Bowie of Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on June 20, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hinkle Erskine and Magree Fisher Bowie; his wife Betty Coleman Bowie; and his sister Tommie Stancell (Roy). He is survived by: his children, Timothy Bowie (Lisa) and Anita Finley (Greg); his granddaughters, Rachel Finley Norfleet and Hannah Finley; his great grandchild Odin Norfleet; and his nephew Scott Stancell (Georgette).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Dillard Memorial Funeral Home (2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
