He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Stewart and Alberta Stewart; his son Clyde Darrell Stewart Jr.; his great grandchild Tyler Craig Bishop; and his brother Cecil Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Whitmire Stewart; his children, Yvonne Bishop (Phillip Hudson) and Tim Murrell (Sally); his grandsons, Craig Bishop (Cindy) and Christopher Bishop; his great grandchild Aubrey Sky Bishop; his siblings, Claude Stewart (Thelma) and Marie Stewart; and his sister-in-law Teresa Stewart.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dillard Funerals and Cremation (2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Blue Ridge View Baptist Church (745 Wolf Creek Rd, Pickens, SC 29671). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location.
