He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Homer Starns and Mandy Oley Smith Starns. He is survived by: his children, Jessie Dennis Starns (Ashely) of Lawrenceville, GA, Michele Denise Hickson (Brian) of Brooklet, GA, Denise Eldridge of Gainesville, FL and Daniele Hiers of Middleburgh, FL; his grandchildren, Jaycee Hiers, Courtney Starns, Lauren Starns, Emily Starns, Adaline Starns, Hayden Munk and Darren Munk; his great grandchildren, Marcos Reyes, Liam Eldridge and Ocean Lilly Martinez; and his sisters, Carol Ussery of Brooksville, FL and Sharon Everson of Brooksville, FL. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.
