He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hugh Raxter and Margie Melanie Stewart Raxter; his wife Deborah Medlin Raxter; and his brother Bill Stewart Raxter. He is survived by: his sons, Luke Raxter (Julie) of Easley and Nicholas Raxter of Easley; his grandchildren, Aaron Raxter, Lillie Raxter and Riley Ann Raxter; and his siblings, Steve Stephens (Debbie) of Liberty and Irene Raxter Rigby (H. Cecil) of Liberty. He is also survived by numerous close friends and family members.

Flowers will be accepted, but donations can also be made in Don's memory to The Salvation Army Pickens Service Center (102 Stewart Dr, Easley, SC 29640).
