He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Grady Simmons, Sr. and Grace Chappell Simmons; his son Daryl James Simmons; and his brother Gary Wayne Simmons. He is survived by : his wife Doris G. Simmons; his children, Sandra Lee Hayes (Chris) of Sunset and Harold Allen Simmons (Pam) of Pickens; his grandchildren, Coty Allen Black (Hayley), Cory Allen Simmons (Christi), Heather Melissa Durham (Brandon) and Christan Lee Hayes; and his siblings, Clarence Grady Simmons, Jr. (Violet), Marion Van Simmons (Terry) and Martha Ann Coleman (Phil). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
