She was predeceased by: her spouse Buren Chappell; her parents, Emmett Bryson and Orpha Stephens Bryson; her daughter Gilda Jean Chappell; her son-in-law Dickie Stewart; and her siblings, Helen Patterson, June Holshouser, Bobby Bryson and Donnie Bryson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Stewart of Pickens and Becky Evett (Ricky) of Pickens; her grandchildren, Kerry Stewart (Paul) of Charleston, Alanna Trotter (Chad) of Pickens, Erin Stewart Spartanburg (Erler), Kayla O'Rorke (Chris) of Greenville, Lesli Tucker of Pickens and Erica Evett of Pickens; her great grandchildren, Kenna, Jack, Ruby, Daylen, Griffin, Christos, Seraphima, Aidan, Cambree, Killian, Nicodemus and Ledger; her great great grandchildren, Layla and Charlie; her sister Betty Mentrikoski; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Bryson, Georgia Garrett, Joyce Middleton and Geraldine Anthony.
