She was predeceased by : her husband Woodrow Chapman; her parents, Clarence Duncan and Marie Jones Whitfield; her daughter Linda Porter; and her grandson Steven Porter.

She is survived by : her son David Chapman (Amanda) of Pickens; her grandchildren, Michael Porter, Waylon Chapman, Landan Chapman and Luke Chapman; and her sisters, Liz Lesley (Charles), Dorothy Harvey, Edna Duncan and Barbara Dobson.
