It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugenia Winchester Porter of Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband David Franklin Porter; her parents, James Winchester and Ora Roper Winchester; and her children, Susan Porter Pierce (Mike), Kerri Porter Crisp and James D. "Jimmy" Porter.

She is survived by : her children-in-law, Anita Pinkston (Robert) of Pickens and Steve Crisp of Liberty; and her grandchildren, Tara McGowan (Daniel) of Seneca, Kelly Porter of Pickens, David Harris (Tiffany) of Liberty and Reeci Bryant (Josh) of Pickens.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Pickens County Meals on Wheels, 349 Edgemont Avenue, Liberty, SC 29657.
