She was predeceased by : her daughter Jaime Lafoy; her parents, Daisy Willimon Alexander and David Seaborn Alexander; and her siblings, Edward Alexander, B. C. Alexander, Morris Alexander, Elizabeth Brewer and Mildred Cash.

She is survived by : her husband Pat Maxwell; her sister Joan Moore; her sister-in-law Gig Alexander; her grandsons, Dustin Edmonds (Brittany) and Jason Edmonds (Erin); her great grandchildren, Laila, Bailey, Bella and Bristol; and her nieces, Rachel York, Susan Grant, Deana Moore and Lora Stephanchick.
