Quarles (Pickens, South Carolina), born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles W. "Charlie" Quarles; her father Arvel Buren; and her sisters, Remel Oliver, Rilla Stancil, Mary Braddock and Betty Jo Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Pearman (Terry) of Easley, SC and Chuck Quarles (Angela) of Buford, GA; her brothers, Arvel Pettit (Geri) of Walhalla, SC and Leland Pettit of Walhalla, SC; her grandchildren, Brandon Quarles (Amelia) and McKenzie Colonna (Alex); and her great grandchildren, Adalyn Colonna and Lucy Quarles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Mrs. Quarles' name to East Pickens Baptist Church: 2244 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, SC 29671.
