He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Galloway Owen and Will Owen; and his siblings, Vera Bowie, Jaroll Owen, Caroll Owen, Faroll Owen, Denver Owen and A. B. Owen.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Dale Owen of Pickens, SC and Denise Holliday of Pickens, SC; and his siblings, Ophelia Ashe and Stanley Owen of Pickens, SC.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671).
