He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Garrett and Edith Garrett; and his sister Edwina Garrett Crane. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Chappell Garrett; his children, Greg Garrett (Dana) and Julie Garrett Nelson (Manning); and his grandchildren, Shelli, Shaina, Jennifer (Levi), Samuel (Emma) and Wesley (Tabitha).
