He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ashe and Bonnie Shelton Ashe; and his siblings, Louie Ashe, George Frank Ashe, Charles Ray Ashe, Louise, Sarah and Dixie Kay.
He is survived by: his wife Ophelia Owen Ashe; his children, Ronald Keith Ashe (Tena) of Seneca and Sherrie Yvonne Roper of Pickens; his grandchildren, Thomas Ryan Ashe of Skyler, J. M, Nichole Smith, Marolyn Alexus Page, Brad Cox, Aaron Cox, Nick Harris and Grady Roper; and his sisters, Barbara Jean Williams and Helen Pearson. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Amazing Grace Fellowship (229 Pearl St, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671).
