She was predeceased by : her parents, Vantus Van Buren Burleson and Edna Mae Burleson; her husband John Calvin Boone; and her children, Vance Boone (Jane) of Ringgold, GA, Susan Berry (Gary) of Pickens, SC and Bobby Boone of Orangeburg, SC..

She is survived by : her siblings, Martha Jackson of Chapin, SC and Paul Burleson (Beulah) of Orangeburg, SC.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
