He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McClain and Carrie McClain; and his sister Faye McClain. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McClain; his sons, Mark McClain (Lara) and Kevin McClain (Samantha); his grandchildren, Ethan (Leila), Burke and Madelyn; and his sister Judy Few.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Dillard Memorial Funeral Home (2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pickens First Baptist Church Choir Fund.
