We bid farewell to Jennie Clayton of Pickens, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 25, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roy Green and Rebecca Brown Green; her daughter Tammy Brezeale; her granddaughter Danielle Clayton; her son-in-law Dennis Bagwell; her siblings, Veronica Bagwell, Katherine Davidson and Charlie Green; and her siblings-in-law, Alvin Bagwell, Jerry Rochester, Cohen Davidson, Otis Owens, Gary Holcombe and Elaine Green.

She is survived by: her husband Joe Walter Clayton; her children, Kay Bagwell, David Clayton (Donna), Danny Clayton (Michelle) and Kevin Clayton (Shannon); her grandchildren, Corey Brezeale (Tasha), Dana Vissage (Jeff), Chris Bagwell (Rachel), Dave Bagwell, Tonya Feno (Randall), Joseph Clayton, Jacob Clayton, Sean Clayton, Aaron Clayton, Holly Clayton, Casey Clayton, Elizabeth Whiten (Caleb), Taylor Combs and Jordan Combs; and her siblings, Ethel Rochester, Starlena Owens, Robin Holcombe and Donnie Ray Green. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Dillard Memorial Funeral Home (2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jennie's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
