He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Garrett and Willie Mae Garrett; and his brother Donnie Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Debra B. Garrett; his daughter Melissa Smith (Ken); his granddaughters, Jaida Smith, Jennifer Rivera (Mike) and Lyndsey Abbott (Michael); his sister Ginger Lewis; and his sibling's children, Tiffany Owens and Zach Lewis. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dillard Funerals and Cremation (2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the same location.
