She was predeceased by: her husband Graham Gillespie; her parents, Samuel I. Henderson and Gertrude Skelton Henderson; her brother Robert Henderson; and her siblings-in-law, Frances Henderson and Bill Walsh.
She is survived by: her children, Kristal Doherty (Thomas Jr.) of Pickens and Scott Gillespie (Cynthia) of Liberty; her grandchildren, Thomas Doherty, III (Waverly), Ryan Doherty, Erin Doherty Proffitt (Ryan), Katelyn Turner, Avery Gillespie and Jaylie Gillespie; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Nate and Juliette; and her sister Carol Henderson Walsh of Easley. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
