She was predeceased by : her husband John Wayne Finley; her parents, Duke William and Harriet Pauline Nix Reece; and her sisters, Ruth Martin, Jean Chappell, Mildred Derossett and Helen Sexton.

She is survived by : her children, Amanda Finley and Justin Finley; her grandson Conner Finley; and her brothers, Ralph Reece and Carl Reece.
