He was predeceased by: his parents, Addy P. Finley Wilson and Guy Wilson; and his siblings, Patricia Whitmire, Mel Wilson, Rudy Wilson, Randy Wilson and Bobby Wilson.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Grant (Fonda) of Easley, Cindy Bagwell (Bobby) of Easley, George Wilson (Cathy) of Pickens and Malcolm S. Wilson (Regina) of Pickens; his siblings, Faye Crowe of Pickens and Ray Wilson (Valley) of Easley; and his grandchildren, Deidra Morgan (Dale), Carol Beth Bush (Kale), Natasha Jennings Erica (Randall), Ethan Grant (Jade) and Elaine Wilson. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
