She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Glenn Banks of Pickens; her parents, E. B. Smith and Loe Pace Smith; her son Gary Allen Banks; her siblings, Alvin Smith and Bobbie S. Pace; and her grandchildren, Kevin, Kayla, Justin and Jacob Banks.
She is survived by: her children, Harold G. "Hal" Banks, Jr. (Sheila) of Pickens, June Banks Stansell (Greg) of Greenville and Eric Banks (Kimberly) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Kelli Hijar (Isaac), Hunter Banks, Kaitlyn Banks and Kennedy Banks; her great grandchildren, Germán Hijar and Rowan Hijar; and her siblings, Sue S. Childs and Jerry Smith (Ruth Ann).
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funerals and Cremations - Pickens Chapel (105 Florence St, Pickens, SC 29671).
