Martha Jacqueline Roper Obituary

We announce the death of Martha Jacqueline Roper (Pickens, South Carolina), who passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 86. Martha will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Rogers and Elizabeth Rogers; and her husband Norman Roper. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Abel, Susan Muse (Kevin) and Leslie Craven (Paul); her sister Linda Patterson (Donnie); her grandchildren, Garrett Sloan (Megan), Tyler Sloan (Stephanie), Jacquelyn Muse (Jack), Grayson Achille (Allston) and Griffin Gaines (Madeleine Maury); and her great grandchildren, Poppie Jaine, Hampton and Barrett. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Francis Foundation in Loving Memory of Jackie Roper.
