He is survived by: his sons, Nathan Chavis (Micheala) of Greenville, Raymond Chavis of Easley and Joshua Chavis of Easley; his grandchildren, Levi, Lexi and Zoey; and his siblings, Naomi Merck, William Chavis and Cindy Lewis.
