She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Dorsey and Ellen Ellenburg Dorsey; her husband Larry Ellis Edwards; and her brother Floyd Collins. She is survived by: her son Jason Edwards (Brooke); her granddaughter Ella Grace; her siblings, Doyle Dorsey (Dretha), Jimmy Dorsey (Louise) and Ruby Dorsey; and her sister-in-law Margaret Collins.
In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be sent to be sent to the Blue Ridge Baptist Church Youth department.
