He was predeceased by : his parents, Alton Alfred Thomas, II and Pauline Alvernia Brown; and his siblings, Kathy Byard, Danny Thomas, Alton Thomas, III and Murices Kiley.

He is survived by : his sons, Luke Thomas of Melbourne, Timothy Thomas of Aiken and Paul Thomas, Jr. of Aiken; his siblings, Mark Kiley, Wesley Kiley and Peggy Pomroy; and his close friend Don Thurber.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Paul's honor may be made to South Main Chapel and Mercy Center, 2408 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624.
