He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Roberts Moss Rees and Eugenia Adams Rees; and his stepson Michael La'clair. He is survived by: his spouse Laurie Ann Pike Rees; his children, Christopher Rees of Andover and Brigitt Belen Rees of Milford, Connecticut.; his stepchildren, Krista Gallardo of Easley, Bambi Messina of Piedmont and Alan La'clair of New Haven, Connecticut.; and his sister Gena Rees Douglass of Connecticut.
