He is survived by: his wife Judy Atkins Howard; his children, Lisa Howard of Easley, Michael Howard of Pickens and Brett Howard (Amy) of Dacusville; his grandchildren, Kallie of Justin, J. W., Addie and Evan; his great grandchild Karalyne; and his siblings, Rev. Tommy Howard (Ann) of Pickens, Judy Byers of Pickens and Jackie Hughes of Pickens. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blue Ridge View Baptist Church (745 Wolf Creek Rd, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at the Blue Ridge View Baptist Church Cemetery (745 Wolf Creek Rd, Pickens, SC 29671).
