It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Albertson Evans (Pickens, South Carolina), who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; her brother Don Albertson; and her parents, Mack Albertson and Elizabeth Albertson. She is survived by: her children, Andy Evans (Sandie) and Amy Goodin (Scott); her grandchildren, Alex Madden, Chris Madden, Carrie Madden, Katriena Woodruff (Justin), Jessica Aguilar (Christian), Aubrey Cooper (Austin), Emma Evans, Annabeth Albertson, Kyra Albertson, Sydney Albertson, Rylie Albertson and Lindsay Parker (Ricky); her great grandchildren, Josie, Evan, Thomas, Temperence, Aria and Andres; her siblings, Brenda Mauldin and Ed Albertson (Sherri); and her niece Brandi Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ruby's name to Pickens County Meals on Wheels, the Blood Connection or an organ donation organization of your choice.
