She was predeceased by: her husband John Carol Huff Sr.; her sister Sarah; and her granddaughter Chelsea James Christoph Huff. She is survived by: her half-siblings, Spurgeon, Luther, Callie, Eunice and Dorothy; her brothers, John William and Timothy Ray Fortner; her sons, John Carol Huff Jr. (Victoria Guest) of Greenville, James Matthew Huff (Jane McCall) of Summerville and Timothy William Huff (Hjordis Blanchard) of Durham, NC.; her grandchildren, Kelly Courtney Huff Fussell (Ed), Brenny Carol Huff Bohne (Tom), Neely Stockton Huff (Keith Worley), John C. Huff III, James Matthew Huff Jr. (Kali Stewart) and William McCall Huff (Elizabeth Martin); her great grandchildren, Edward Walter, Gwendolyn Stockton "Gwen", Jagger Ryan Bohne, Isaac Asher Salazar Huff, Cuchulain Lucca Thompson Huff, Annsley Ruth, Clara Jane, Grant Thomas Huff, James Matthew III and Lucas Bodhi Huff; her nieces, Cam Fortner Lawrence and Adrienne Huff; her stepgranddaughter Elisa Storyk (Audrey McCall Coogler); her grandson Chris McCall; her close friend Taresa Owen; her grandsons, Johnny, Matt and Will; her grandsons-in-law, Ed and Tom; her son David Newlin; her nephew Stan Howell; Carol, Drew Dye, Eddie, Chris McCall, Keith Worley and Stan Gibson.
