The memory of Sandra Sue Farmer (Pickens, South Carolina), who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde C. Whitmire and Essie Porter Whitmire; and her siblings, Lucille Chastain, Yvonne Durham, Gladye Mae Nix, Sylvia Cantrell, Claude, Roy, Bobby, Johnny, Donald and Haskell Whitmire.
She is survived by: her husband William T. Farmer; her children, William Farmer, Andrew Farmer (Bridget) of Liberty and Lori Alexander (Tim) of Easley; her sisters, Diane Sanderson and Kathy Young; and her grandchildren, Hannah-Michelle (Patrick), Sylia Wood (Tony), Elijah Farmer (Kellie), Jakob Farmer, Judah Farmer (Sophia), Tristan Smith (Madison), Samantha Reeves (Payton) and Madeline Smith. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Dillard Funerals and Cremation (2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671).
