He is survived by: his parents, William Frank Mathis and Dorthy Ann Moxley; his children, Christopher Mathis of Greenville, SC, William Mathis of Denver, CO, Cheyeanna Mathis of Walhalla, SC and Kassidie Rogers of West Union, SC.; his grandchildren, Amilya Rogers and Declan Rogers; and his brother Rusty Mathis.
