We bid farewell to Shelby Jean Freeman of Pickens, South Carolina, born in Cateechee, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 9, 2026 at the age of 82. Shelby touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Barnwell and Lillie Teat Barnwell. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Freeman; her daughter Lynn Callahan (Alan); her stepsons, Allen Freeman (Angel) and Jeremy Freeman (Grace); her grandchildren, Rev. Chasen Callahan (Casey), Chance Callahan (Brooke), Austin Freeman, Madison Freeman, Alanna Blyth (Tanner), Ashlyn Young (Cody) and Alden Freeman; her daughter Crystal Rollins; and her siblings, Jim Barnwell, Frank Barnwell, Betty Patterson and Sue Entrekin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Shelbys memory to Cottingham Hospice Care Facility, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca SC 29672.
