It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Ann Thompson (Pickens, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Black and Eufalla McQueen Black. She is survived by: her husband Alton Thompson, III; her sons, Jimmy Hunt (Shad Lawrence) of Central, Sam Hunt of Woodruff and Robert Hunt; her grandsons, Justin Hunt of Johns Island and Timothy Hunt of Greer; her sister Sharon Black Lackey of Mauldin; her mother-in-law Rhonda Joseph of Dalton, GA; her siblings-in-law, Alexis Thompson and Grover Joseph; and her nieces and nephews, Johnathan Lackey, Ben Lackey, Kristen Fowler, Hayley Fowler and Sarah Fowler.
