She was predeceased by: her former husband Charles McCracken; and her parents, Frederick Jacob and Kathryn Stalnecker Schmidt. She is survived by: her husband Chuck; her children, Reed (Maureen) of Waterbury, VT, Curt (Jen) of Gales Ferry, CT and Jeanine (Robert Montgomery) of West Union, SC; her grandchildren, Eric, Nathan, Kate, Grant, Andrew and Kristina Montgomery; and her sibling's children, Jennifer Preen, Kathryn Busch and Joseph Preen.
