She was predeceased by : her parents, Ervin Rhodes and Edna Mae Brooks Rhodes; and her siblings, Alvin Rhodes, Paul Rhodes, Floyd Rhodes, Jerry Rhodes, Danny Rhodes, Carolyn Holbrooks, Kathy Willard, Brenda Yates, Shirley Kay and Joan Ray.
She is survived by : her husband James D. Austin; her children, Tammy Kay (Barry Stegall) of Pickens and Tony Kay (Sonya Lomax) of Central; her stepchildren, Josh Austin (Stephanie) of Easley and Amanda Austin of Tucson, AZ; her grandchildren, Lee Kay, Samantha Kay Chandler (Zack) of Liberty, Brandon Kay (Brianna Atkins) of Central and Haley Kay Streets (Isaac) of Easley; her stepgrandchildren, Mikey Austin of Tucson, AZ, Malachi Austin of Tucson, AZ and Sawyer Austin of Easley; and her great grandchildren, Brysin Ross of Easley, D. J, Chandler of Easley and Mason Kay of Central. She is also survived by her children and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
