She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Cantrell and Lois Cantrell; and her mother-in-law Dorothy Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Sylvester Simmons; her children, Daniel Simmons (Erica), Skyler Simmons and Carol Simmons; her grandchildren, Kayla Sotelo, Nevaeh, Emily and Elizabeth; and her siblings, Gene Cantrell (Sara), Carolyn Martin and Joann Todd (Richard). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
