He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Cater Patterson; his daughter Karen Patterson Wilkinson; his grandchildren, Ric Wilkinson (Tiffany) of Boone, NC and Allison Poff (John) of Pageland, SC; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer Wilkinson and Reagan Poff.
