He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Jack Gambrell Sr. and Patsy Dove Dodgens; and his siblings, Lamar Gambrell, Diane Franks and Teresa Reece.
He is survived by: his significant other Tina Garner; his daughters, Rebecca Gambrell and Amy Riggs of Pickens; and his brother Ricky Edward Dodgens of Pickens.
