He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Ellenburg and Lois Ellenburg. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Ellenburg; his children, Kim Burgess (Michael) of Sunset and Scott Ellenburg (Kristin) of Easley; his grandchildren, Tyler Burgess (Anabelle), Hudson Burgess (Kendall), Riley Gaines and Luke Ellenburg; his great grandchild Kolter Burgess; and his sister Cynthia Duncan.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671).
