He is survived by: his wife Gail C. Edwards; his sons, William J. Edwards Jr. of Pickens, Matthew Edwards (April) of Pickens, Bradley Edwards of Pickens and Travis Edwards (Brooke) of Pickens; his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Edwards, Cristian Smith, Melanie Edwards, Brayden Parker, Noah Edwards, Morgan Parker, Eli Edwards and Abbigail Edwards; his siblings, Judy Bentley, John H. Edwards, Cathy Gilstrap, Pam Crenshaw (Leon) and Richard Edwards (Jena); his siblings-in-law, Gena Gibson, Doris Holliday and Scott Gibson; and his close friends, Jerry Moore and Al Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
